We take our articles very seriously at DealerBar. The reality in the automotive industry, for better or for worse, is that much of the content that flows through the various networks are simply copied and pasted from other sources. It is good in that it allows for more exposure to articles, offering more opportunities for dealers to find the resources that they need. It's bad because it's possible for articles to get "hijacked" by other websites who do not like to create their own original content.
There's nothing wrong with this as long as there's attribution. To properly attribute an article, it should have a link to the source and mention the original author. It has come to our attention that many of the articles on DealerBar are "scraped" from the blog feed, so this is where we're going to house our original articles.
Keep in mind that the practice of scraping is different from syndication. Many sites syndicate content, taking all or part of it and giving full attribution to the source. This is a good thing. Scraping is a bad thing and we simply won't stand for it anymore.
